Multimedia Journalist

I am a reporter based in northern Canada, currently working with Cabin Radio in Yellowknife, NWT.

As a reporter I have covered a range of topics including justice, politics, climate change, human rights and health.  My work has appeared in This Magazine, the Whitehorse Daily Star, CBC News, CBC Radio, the Canadian Press, rabble.ca, the Vancouver Courier,  the Tyee, the Real Dirt on FarmingAboriginal Women's Economic Quarterly, the Ubysseythe Ontarion, and the Fountain Pen. I was also an intern with CBC's Day 6  during the summer of 2015 and co-directed News 101 on CiTR 101.9 FM during the 2015/2016 academic year. 

In the spring of 2016 I completed a Masters of Journalism from the University of British Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism where I was a reporter with the Reporting in Indigenous Communities program. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Development with an emphasis on political economy from the University of Guelph.
